Seasonal Greetings

2017-12-10 (1)

With only few weeks left of 2017, it is now time to reflect and review the year that has now almost come to its end. A year that has indeed been the year of unexpected things.

I started the year on a location rather far from where I am today, thinking that it would become my permanent home with time… but little did I know.

Last summer, I finally got my prayers answered and got to reunite with my daughter and her family. That event eventually led to the return towards the place I now call my home. Not only did I get my daughter and grandchildren back, but also I got to return to my childhood town. The place the raised and formed me to becoming the person I am today.

This has indeed been the year of blessings and I can only be grateful that finally the Universe has listened and heard my most deepest wishes and dreams.

I will bid farewell to 2017 with gratitude and welcome 2018 with open arms and an open mind. If 2017 has tought me anything, it is that anything can and will happen and that you will get your prayers heard and your wishes granted, if you only believe and want them with all of your heart.

I want to end this post with wishing you all a wonderful season, weather you might be celebrating or not. Also I hope that the New Year may bring you happiness and joy and that all of your dreams and hopes may come true.

Thank you for being a part of my journey.

Best wishes, Alex Christopher Kristjánsson / ACK

Constant improvement

Just a quick update.

At the moment I am changing and preparing the page to becoming a part showcase, part blog and a webstore. Things are moving in the right direction and I am finally where I belong. I will start updating my portfolios with various art and photographs from Iceland, Sweden, Italy, France, Spain and Holland… and counting. I am really digging deep into my collection and handpicking the best of the best to show you. Meanwhile I invite you to have a look in my current portfolios Iceland, Sweden and Flower Power.

More to come!

Have a great weekend y’all!

“My childhood’s home I see again,
And sadden with the view;
And still, as memory crowds my brain,
There’s pleasure in it too. ”

Abraham Lincoln

So here I am, once again. 30 years have passed me by and now the circle has been closed. I am home.

Our fragile world

Just want to wish you all a wonderful autumn and at the same time I want to send out my prayers to all of those who have been affected by those horrible hurricanes and earthquake that have been happening in the world the past weeks and that are still going on. We live in a time where the world is changing and the weather phenomena are getting worse than we have ever seen. Our world is fragile and we need to do our utmost to protect it and take good care of each other, weather be it everyday life or in crisis like so many countries and people are experiencing right now. One can not refrain from feeling little and powerless when all you can do is to stand by and watch this catastrophe happen.

Until next, take good care and thank you for stopping by.

A new beginning

Dear friends and followers.

It is with pleasure I can now tell you that ACK visual art studio is back. I wasn’t sure how I would return to the world wide web with my art or if I would at all. But thankfully I have now come to the conclusion that this is the best place for me to be and to share my creations.

I have separated the blog from the art and from now on this page I will display and write about art and art only. I hope you will continue to follow my work as you did before and if there is something you would like to share or talk about I am here to listen and to discuss.

I just reopened the page so it is still under a bit of construction. But I will surely be adding new and older -never seen before- art with time.

So welcome once again to my art corner here at ACK visual art studio.

Hope to see you soon again.
